to your FAFSA

Let’s Get Started:

1. Log onto FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov
2. Under Returning User, click “Log In”
3. At the Log-In screen, select “I am the student”
4. Select “Next” at the bottom right of the page
5. Read the Disclaimer, click “Accept”
6. Make sure you are on the 2021-22 tab,
7. Click on “Make FAFSA Corrections”
You may be prompted to create a save key, if so, follow the instructions in Step 8. If you are not prompted to enter a save key, go to Step 11.
8. Create a Save Key.
9. Re-enter Save Key, select “next”
10. Click “OK” to continue
11. Click “Next” in the lower right corner
12. Click on the “School Selection” tab at the top.

13. Click on “Add A School”

14. Enter the federal school code below that pertains to your location:

15. Click “Search”

16. The federal school code you entered will display the name of the school, check the box next to it. 17. Click “Add”
18. The school you selected will move from the left side to the right side.
19. Select “Next”

20. For your housing plans, select either “Off campus” or “With Parent’, as it pertains to you.
21. Click “Next”

22. Click on the “Sign and Submit” tab, it will display the changes you have made.
23. Select “Next”

24. To sign your FAFSA, read the terms and select the “Agree” button
25. Click “Sign”
26. At the bottom of the page select “Submit my FAFSA Now”
– Although you may see options for your parent signature, since we only added a school to the FAFSA no parent signature is required.
27. Congratulations! You have successfully added a school to your FAFSA. We should receive this information from our University partner in 5-7 business days. You can check your financial aid status in the student portal.
